Growing up in Davis, California, Jimin quickly adapted to the cold of the Northeast through his four years at Penn State. They graduted with honors in 2023 with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Smeal College Certificate in Business. Throughout their time at Penn State, Jimin got to continue their work advocating for greater equity and inclusion in theatre as a two year board member of the School of Theatre Student Diversity Committee and an original executive board member of the national organization Broadway of Tomorrow. 

Jimin grew up performing professionally in the Sacramento region and made their Broadway debut immediately after graduating college. In the past two years, Jimin has performed in 3 Broadway shows: Aladdin, Original Broadway cast of Lempicka, and the Original Broadway cast of Jamie Lloyd's Sunset Blvd. where they understudied the role of Joe Gillis and performed opposite Tony Award winner Nicole Scherzinger (and did the iconic Schubert Alley "Sunset Boulevard" walk). Jimin is currently starring as Shane in Heatied Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody Off Broadway
